A luxury custom bed isn't just a frame and a mattress. It's an architectural piece that anchors the bedroom, expresses your design language, and is built to last decades rather than years. Most clients commission a bespoke bed once or twice in a lifetime — these are the choices that matter.
Solid hardwood — European oak, American walnut or kiln-dried beech — is the spine of any serious bed. Frames are jointed with mortise-and-tenon construction, reinforced with corner blocks, and engineered to take the load of a heavy mattress plus 30+ years of use. We avoid MDF, particleboard and bonded ply for any structural part. The hidden side of luxury is what you don't see.
This is the design statement. Channel-tufted in Italian leather, button-tufted in performance velvet, wrapped in Belgian linen, panelled in walnut veneer with brass inlay, or carved hardwood — the headboard sets the tone for the entire bedroom. We design each headboard to be removable for re-upholstery in 8–10 years, which is when fabrics start to show wear.
UAE standard sizes are: Single (90 × 200 cm), Double (135 × 190 cm), Queen (150 × 200 cm) and King (180 × 200 cm). We also build to European, US and bespoke dimensions for clients with imported mattresses or unusual room layouts. Custom sizing adds no cost — only different drawings.
Drawer-base storage, lift-up gas mechanisms, integrated USB charging and side-table extensions are all options. We coordinate with mattress brands (Hästens, Vispring, Savoir, Simba) and box-spring requirements so the finished bed sits at exactly the right height.
Solid hardwood is finished with hand-applied stain, French polish or hard-wax oil — never sprayed lacquer. The result is a finish that develops patina rather than wearing through. Upholstery is finished with concealed double-stitch seams and reinforced corners.
Bespoke luxury beds range from AED 25,000 for a tailored upholstered queen to AED 60,000+ for a king-size with hardwood frame and detailed headboard, to AED 120,000+ for grand master beds with integrated storage, mirror inlays or exceptional materials.
Standard lead time is 8–10 weeks from approved design to delivery. Hand-carved hardwood headboards, deep tufting and rare leather options can extend to 12–14 weeks. Imported materials add 2–4 weeks for shipping.
Yes — we routinely match existing wardrobes, bedside tables and dressing tables in stain, hardware and detailing. Bring photos, samples or measurements and our design team builds the bed to coordinate.
